It
was reported that a motionless dog was lying in the grass next to a
busy road. When we arrived to the scene, he tried to escape, but luckily
we managed to catch him.
Karácsony has a unique
personality. Among dogs, he could be regarded as an autist, as if he
lived in a different world. He is slower than his mates, and is able to
gaze for hours. He needs a patient owner who can accept his “weirdness”.
Sometimes he tries to go through between two chairs, but he cannot fit
through, so he stays there for long minutes waiting for what comes
next if we are not there to help him. He doesn’t try to solve the
situation. We recommend to keep him indoors as he finds his way better
in a smaller place. In a bigger place he tends to go round and round all
day. It is hard to walk him on the leash, he goes where he would like
to, and if we try to pull him, he stops and stands still. He has a habit
to put everything into his mouth that is hanging above him, or moving
towards him: let it be a hand, trousers, packet, or a treat. He doesn’t
bite, just holds it in his mouth :) That’s why he is not an ideal dog
for families with little children. A house with a garden would fit him
best, where he could live in the house and sometimes go to the garden to
do his things. He gets on well with other dogs, he doesn’t harm any
dogs, he lives in his own world.

*Please, pay attention that there is a onefold fee which we don’t
renounce. Firstly, because it is a financial source for the shelter, and
on the other hand, this really small amount means your true commitment
for us.
We really hope, no one is dissuaded because of the adopting fee. For
this money you get a vaccinated, parasite-free, neutered dog with a
starting pack and with other great facilities (dog school at a lower
price, discount dry food prices, dog supplies and accessories).
